DXPATROL QO-100 RXSET2 with selectable ifs offers a modified LNB plus a power supply and a clock source at 25 MHz. The LNB had two outings. One of the outputs has been modified to act as an entrance for an oscillator clock reference to 25 MHz. This greatly improves frequency stability, as required for narrow band signals. The LNB IF output signal can be set to various bands: 28, 144, 432 or 1296 MHz (welding bridge). This reception signal is powered to a suitable radio -amaemor transceiver, for example the DXPATROL SDR. {
{The Pll/Bias-T unit has the following functions:
{Nutrition of the LNB with the operating voltage (Bias-T)
{adaptation of imperative from 75 ohm (LNB) to 50 ohm (SDR receiver UHF)
25 MHz oscillator watch for LNB modified
{Optional 10 MHz entrance for external precision clock source (GPSDO or similar)
The connectors to the LNB are taken "F", the IF signal towards the SDR receiver is available on an SMA socket. The entry of the reference clock to 10 MHz is also a SMA socket. This entry of reference clock is optional, and should be provided by a high precision source at 10 MHz, for example a GPS disciplined oscillator (GPSDO) or other source. When injecting a 10 MHz reference, the internal PLL is synchronized by this signal instead of a quartz oscillator, the result is a much better stability and a cleaner signal due to a better signal/noise ratio. {
{As an alternative to this product, the QO100-RXSET is available, which uses a fixed IF of 760 MHz.
