Zepp Antenna from 80m to 10m

The Zepp antenna is a short -wave multiband antenna. This antenna form is built with an λ / 2 radiator and a line of transformation λ / 4. Therefore this antenna is a semi -ond radiator for the low and resonant band on the highest, harmonic bands.  {

The traditional construction of this antenna used parallel for the transformation line, which acted as a lecher transformer. But it is equally possible to build this antenna with a coaxial line transformer that translates into an efficient, fine -fed antenna flush with the requirements of small spaces. Above all, thanks to the fine design powered, this antenna is much easier to install and use spontaneously, as in a holiday place or during emergency operations.  {

The Zepp antenna offered by Wimo is 22.8 million in total, where 15.2 million is the radiator, and 7.6m the line transformer does not radiate. Included in the shipment is a 1: UNUN transformer 1, which allows you to use any coaxial cable length without influencing the transfer line. This modern design differs from the traditional Zepp antenna, where the TNNAForming power line could not be changed in length. The antenna requires a tuner.  {

depending on the local conditions Zepp, the antenna can be installed on a staircase or in angular form. The height from the ground is (among others) important for the radiant pattern. A low and horizontal antenna is good for high corner radiation, good for local distances up to 400 km. An installation of vertical and higher part on earth is a good for a low take-off corner and long distances.  {
