The headset is stereo, so that the signals coming from two receivers (pileup and dxpedition) can be listened to and level separately through the integrated balance regulator.

As for all the other larger headphones there is a switch for the phase reversal on the one hand to turn the signal received 'in the head', and also to relieve the symptoms of fatigue during the competition.

The Pro 7 has a detachable connection cable and is available both with HC-74 dynamic microphone capsule and with the Electret capsule for ICOM. The microphones are interchangeable so that they can use a cap for both lines of equipment.

The HC-7 is a redesign of the popular HC-4 element and has been developed for the most serious contest/DX operators. It flows at the bottom of 600 Hz with an increase of 10 dB at 2500-3000 Hz, which creates a very articulated signal to break the tamping.

The dynamic HC-74 (orange) capsule is a further development of the very popular HC-4 microphone capsule. It was developed to meet the high needs of DXER and demanding competitors. Low frequencies are gently limited by 600 Hz, in the frequency range of 2500 - 3000 Hz, important for intelligibility, the level has increased by about 10 dB. This produces a very concise SSB signal which is easily audible even in the most often pile-up.

The Electret IC element designed for the ICOM radio has the 35 Hz and 12khz points with a sensitivity of -48 to 1500 Ohm output, centered at 1khz. The IC element solves the problems with the old ICOM radio (before the IC-756) with low profit, but can also be used with the most recent ICOM models with excellent results. To operate the IC-ELECTRET element, a voltage is applied.
