The new prose 7 has two large gel earphones for a comfortable fit, even during the time to wear prolonged, which also guarantee a high level of suppression of environmental noise: 26DB attenuation according to the supplier.

The headset is stereo, so that the signals from two receivers (pileup and dxpedition) can be listened to and leveled through the integrated balance controller separately.

As for all the other older earphones there is a switch for unilateral phase inversion to turn off the signal received 'in the lead', and also to relieve the symptoms of tiredness during the contest.

The prose 7 has a detachable connection cable and is available either with the HC-7 microphone capsule dynamic or with an Electrete capsule for ICOM. The microphones are interchangeable so that a cap for both set -up lines can be used.

The Adic-8 adapter cable is included in the ICOM version, for other models an AD-1 adapter cable is required.

The dynamic capsule HC-74 (orange) is a further development of the popular hc-4 microphone capsule.
