The OM2501A automatic linear amplifier is designed for all shortwave amateur bands from 1.8 to 29 MHz (including WARC bands) and all modes. It features a single piece of FU-278F or GU84B ceramic tetrode.
The advantages of OM2501A:
Full compatibility with TRXs-CAT
- I'M COMING
- YAESU
- ELECRAFT
- Ten-Tec Orion
- Kenwood
- Icom transceiver protocol used by microHAM devices - CI-V output (MK II, MK2R, MK2R+, etc.)
- Flex Radio Series 6xxx
- Apache Labs Anan
Radio frequency sensitive band and frequency switching, for use with non-CAT radios
Automatic switching between bands
Automatic band tuning by segments
Automatic band pass filter switching - BAND DATA output compatible with YAESU radios (BCD code)
Automatic switching of antenna switches: the maximum number of antennas is 10, controlled by BCD output code
Remote control via Windows PC application

LAN connection
The power amplifier is interfaced to the LAN via Lantronix's XPORT (type XP1001000-05R). More information can be found at www.lantronix.com.
The XPORT factory default settings are:
IP address: 192.168.1.222
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
These are strictly default settings. You can change any of these by accessing the XPORT Web GUI via your web browser. Changing other parameters of the XPORT interface is not recommended as this may cause loss of communication. There is no default username or password. We strongly recommend that you protect your web interface with your username and password.
Special software is required for remote control and monitoring via LAN. It is available free of charge and can be downloaded from the following address:
https://www.om-power.com/download/HF_PA_Manager_v3.31-setup.exe.
NOTE: For the software to function correctly it is necessary to have accessible LAN ports 9999 and 10001.
