The ACOM 1010 HF amplifier covers all bands from 1.8 to 29.7 MHz. They provide over 700W of PEP output (or 500W in continuous mode) with less than 60 watts of drive and operate without special transceiver signals; only need the "ground to TX" and the required drive.
No external antenna tuner is required at least as long as the antenna has a VSWR equal to or less than 3:1. The amplifier performs the functions of an antenna tuner, allowing you to quickly change antennas and use a wide spectrum of frequencies.
The upper LED light bar always detects the peak incident power while the lower one is for reading the reflected power. LED indicators warn of abnormal operating conditions for grid 1, grid 2, and plate parameters.
Two antenna outputs are selectable from the front panel of the amplifier.
Antenna matching can be achieved in less than 10 seconds and at a quarter of the rated output power, so as to reduce the risk of interference with other stations and risks to the safety of the amplifier components itself.
The amplifier does not require any special interface to operate with the transceiver, it only needs the "ground on TX" signal and 60W RF input power to deliver full output power.
