In addition to the well-known functions such as Aprs in FM, digital roaming and the new Bluetooth option, the AT-D578UV-Plus now offers the possibility of simultaneously receiving a DMR and an analog channel. Of course, two analog channels can also be received simultaneously: each of the two bands has its own control of the volume and its own VFO. The transmission power can be set on four levels: the maximum power is 50 watts in VHF and 45 watts in UHF. The further series of functions provided by the AT-D578UV is very wide: it is possible to store up to 4000 different channels (digital, analog or mixed); It is possible to configure 10000 conversation groups and memory can contain up to 20,000 digital contacts (the DMR user database completes all over the world can be stored in the device). In analog mode, functions such as DTMF, CTCSS and DCS are supported as well as coding with two tones and five tones signals.
