Automatic antenna disconnection

antenna disconnect , produced by Paraman (USA) is a protective relay for the antenna coaxial cables.  As soon as the station is off, the antenna is completely isolated from the radio. No more unscrewing of coaxial connectors, when a thunderstorm approaches. {

Especially for Remote Operated stations this is a critical feature, which can save the entire radio station. {

The disconnect antenna not only cuts the central conductor of the coaxial line, but also the external screen. The relay antenna side is permanently connected to an over -intention protection, which cuts all theatime surge, even operating. The relay is activated by a auxiliary power switching of Theradio. As soon as the transceiver is on, the antenna is conencted the radio. Or, if this Ouitput Aux is available, the relay is using the same power supply as the radio. As soon as the power supply commnon is off, the entire station is off and the TNE antenna is disconnected. {

The loss of insertion of the relay of the antenna disconnection is only 0.05 dB at 29 MHz. Also out of 144 MHz is only 1 dB. The max. Potenza is 1500 W. A green LED indicates the function of the relay.  { The switching voltage is provided by one to two wires DC degree with RCA connector. {
