Yaesu SPU-1 ASP Module for FTM-510DE FTM-150E
The Yaesu SPU-1 is a plug-in module that adds ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processing) function to compatible Yaesu transceivers.
Improves the intelligibility of weak signals thanks to digital audio processing.
Integrates with the Super-DX function of Yaesu transceivers: by pressing the Super-DX button, the sensitivity of the receiver increases and the ASP comes into action
Activation mode: AUTO (the module activates automatically when signals are weak) or MANUAL (direct control by the user).
Installation via the internal expansion slot found in some Yaesu models.
The SPU-1 module is compatible with the following Yaesu models:
FT-3165E
FT-3185E
FTM-310DE (version without integrated ASP)
⚠️ Note : In models that already have ASP integrated from the factory (e.g. FTM-310DE ASP), it is not necessary to install the SPU-1.
Additionally, the SPU-1 module activates ASP only in FM analog mode — it does not affect other operating modes.

Better reception: thanks to ASP, even very weak signals become more intelligible.
Easy upgrade: Transform a compatible transceiver from “non-ASP” to “ASP-enabled” with an internal module.
Flexible control: you can choose whether to leave the function active automatically or activate it only when needed.
Official solution: Authentic Yaesu modules ensure compatibility and reliability.
Before purchasing, check whether your radio model already has ASP integrated: some Yaesu models include it from the factory.
Installation requires access to the internal expansion slot: it may be necessary to open the device, and if you are not familiar with it we recommend that you contact a technician or assistance centre.
ASP only operates in FM analogue mode, so don't expect any effects on other modes (e.g. digital).
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mechanical fastening to avoid damage to the module or transceiver.
