The NCC-2 is used for the suppression of interference during reception on long, medium and court waves. It fights local interferences caused by switching power supplies or plasma TV, as well as interference from distant stations. This is achieved with the phase compensation of the signals from two antennas. These two antennas can be the main antenna of the station and an auxiliary antenna, or two similar recipients antennas. Active recipients can also be used. Each receiving branch of these two antennas is equipped with its own attenuator. A balance of balance ensures a precise level adjustment in front of the phase variator. The position of the phase itself is adjusted through a large and precise adjustable control, thus guaranteeing an effective suppression of almost all interference. This operating principle has been known for some time, but the NCC-2 brings it to a completely new level. This is also expressed with the exact regulation of the level, while a sophisticated PTT switch that reliably prevents a transmission without or with a wrong antenna. The multiple connection possibilities for each antenna channel (PL, BNC, F-SCKET) allow high flexibility in the choice of antennas. The possibilities of the NCC-2 are completed by optional modules for the preamplifier, the protection from overvoltage and the adaptation of impedance. {


The ability of the NCC-2 to suppress interference often makes the difference between a successful QSO and an "unheard of". Getting the interference with the Phase Shifter, the useful signal is often audible much better, whether it is a rare amateur radio station or the right distant of a short wave receiver. If you use two similar recipients, the NCC-2 can reach a directivity similar to that of a matrix. Here or the signal of both antennas is added and therefore amplified, or the signals are removed from the phase inversion. The effect is the actual amplification of the useful signal or the suppression of a disorder. It doesn't matter if the interference is generated locally, for example by the light power supply of an LED light,or if it comes from a station distant on the same frequency.

The expandability of the NCC-2 with different options ensures that this device can be perfectly adapted to your station. Three slots are available for each of the two antenna channels. For example, it is possible to use a preamplifier from the front panel, or a protection circuit against extreme signal levels, or the adaptation of the impedance for antenna cables of 75 OHM cheap and low loss. For active antennas, a supply voltage can be connected to each connection (Phantom power supply). The used frequency range is between 500 KHz and 15 MHz, with lower efficiency between 300 KHz and 30 MHz. For operation, the NCC-2 requires a 13.8v voltage with a current consumption of about 2nd. A plug is included for the connection of the voltage.
