ICOM IC-7760 HF/6m SDR transceiver cutting-edge that convinces for its innovative technologies and flexible installation options. The device uses a separate configuration of control unit and RF bridge (which contains the actual radio), connected via a standard LAN cable. This design allows a flexible installation, as the control panel can be placed anywhere in the house, provided that there is a LAN connection. The RF deck can be installed in a separate environment, such as a rack or close to the antenna connection. In this way, interferences due to the sound of the fans are reduced and a more efficient heat dissipation is guaranteed. {

The IC-7760 control panel is equipped with two touch display: a 7-inch main display (800 × 480 pixels, WVGA) and a 2.4-inch secondary display (320 × 240 pixels). Both displays are sensitive to the touch and offer an intuitive control and display of operational frequencies, spectroscopes, S-Meter and RTTY/PSK31/63 decoding messages. The secondary display shows additional information such as filters settings and bands of stacking of bands for better visibility and operation.

The IC-7760 is equipped with two independent receivers for Main and Sub bands, which allow the simultaneous reception of two signals in different bands and ways. The double spectroscope allows the simultaneous display of the main and sub bands and significantly improves the monitoring of bandwidth conditions. The direct RF direct sampling system converts RF signals directly into digital signals, which are then processed by an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), reducing the distortion that can occur in the elaboration of analog signals.

with a maximum transmission power of 200 W and a 100%work cycle, the IC-7760 is also ideal for demanding operational methods such as the FT8. The use of Digital Pre-Distors (DPD) technology compensates for the non-linear distortion of the Potenza amplifier, ensuring a clean and efficient signal transmission.
