Elad TM-2 Consul for SDR receivers
{The TM-2 is a control unit for various SDR programs. It offers the operational comfort of a traditional radio combined with the modern technology of an SDR. {
{
The TM-2 control unit (previously known as TMATE-2) is connected to the computer via a USB cable. Depending on the software, it offers a variety of functions to which you are used to the normal front panel of a radio. For example, the enlightened color display shows the current frequency, the signal level, the operational way currently selected and much more. Six buttons are available for various functions, for example to select the operational way, the harmony field or to silence the receiver. Two small metal knobs are available and one large for the adjustment of the frequency, volume or Squelch. Each of the three knobs is also a button that can be used, for example, to switch the current function. Another advantage of the TM-2 is that SDR software can be used even if the computer is performing another program. {
The connection to the computer takes place via USB cable, the control unit uses the standardized hid method and therefore does not require drivers for current operating systems. The solid housing is in metal and therefore is firmly on the table. A USB cable is included in the supply. Power is supplied via USB, a separate power supply is not necessary. Dimensions 143 x 78 x 135mm, 45 ° inclined operating surface, weight 780g. {
