The Mat-125e tuner is a compact and light antenna tuner with incorporated Liion batteries. This makes it perfect for portable use, for example during a field day or sota activation during an excursion. Thanks to universal tuning, this tuner can be used with the radio of all producers, the only condition is that the transmission power can be reduced to 1 - 20 W. In the fully automatic mode, the tuner begins the tuning as soon as the RF power is present, in the semi -automatic mode, the tuning takes place only after pressing the tuner button. {

The MAT-125E tuner stores the tuning settings found by frequency in a memory. There are 16,000 memory positions available for this purpose. If a well -known frequency is used again, the setting is read by the memory and the optimization process is completed in less than 0.2 seconds. If a new frequency is used or if a new frequency must be tuned (and stored), the process requires max. 5 seconds. During the tuning process it can happen with the MAT-125E model that the "see" transceiver "sees a 2: 1 higher SWR for a short period. Some radios with extremely sensitive protection circuits already react to this and turn off the transmitter, even if the tuning process cannot yet be completely completed. For these radio, the manufacturer recommends a different model, for example the MAT-30 tuner. {

The operation is performed via the tuner button on the tuner after the transmitter was manually switched on low power (from 1 to 20 W) and FM, RTTY or CW to transmit a continuous carrier. The MAT-125E can also be tuned manually to tune in outside the transmission interval (e.g. to listen to short wave radio). To save energy, this tuner is equipped with a Bistable Bistable relays, which maintain their state of switching even after turning off the diet. After 5 seconds the Mat-125e enters a state of suspension in which only a few μa is needed,LEDs are also off. With a new pressure of the Tune button, the tuner reactivates again. This mode of suspension can also be disabled. The front button can also be used to switch the tuner in bypass mode if the antenna does not require any tuning on a certain band. The coaxial output (PL) tunes the antennas in an impedance interval of approx. From 5 to 1500 ohm, which is much more than the usual integrated tunnels can manage.

The power supply is provided by two 18650 Lion batteries integrated with a capacity of approx. 2500 mAh. This also allows days of operation for extensive holidays. A plug-in charger is included in the supply.
