HF amplifiers, VHF UHF base 220 volt

An amplifier, in electronics and telecommunications, is a device to vary the breadth of a signal of a multiplicative factor commonly indicated as gain (a), usually expressed in db. {
is an active (powered) device, that is, which absorbs energy to obtain the aforementioned amplification functionality, which in fact means increased signal energy. More specifically, a generic (linear) amplifier has an entrance to which the signal to be amplified and an exit from which the amplified signal is taken, of amplitude equal to sometimes the original signal, is applied. If the gain of the amplifier is not constant, but varies according to certain characteristics of the signal, we speak of non -linear amplifier. Their use often makes itself necessary to cope with the excessive mitigation of the signal along the communication channel or in general in the system in which it transits. {
